A Day at Sunway

Warning! Extremely long post ahead. Please be mentally prepared.

Time is flying immensely fast this few weeks. As soon as I know it, we already had our second class party that we thought it might not come. I wouldn't really call it a class party with only 8 3G mates and 3 outsiders.

I wonder how long has it been since I last visited Sunway Lagoon. The last time i remembered was when I was so young that i would freak out and wet my pants at the sight of people plunged high into the air and if my memory serves me correctly, I still remember someone actually died here after being flung out of a train ride. That was about when I was 5 where it came out on our local newspaper.

So, at 10:00 a.m. everyone gathered infront of the entrance to collect our tickets which we got discounted by 30% of the original price. Just when we thought everyone was there, we noticed something was fishy. So fishy that it beats the fish sold by the fishmongers at your local morning market and then it hit us.

WHERE ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH IS MAHESH???!!!!

As usual, he would most probably be in bed and it was later proven when we called him. So after Mahesh arrived we wore our admission passes and went in.

The idiot at the entrance tied the admission pass too tight that it disrupted my blood flow. I couldn't take it out after it was on and if i do ill most probably rip the whole thing off.

After we entered the theme park, we decided to go for the rides at the dry theme park before heading down to the wet theme park. So we went to the lockers so that we don't have to carry our belonging's every where we go.

The bad thing bout this locker is it takes 3 tokens which cost RM1 each to enable the usage of the lockers and you can only close and open once. If it were an emergency, you'll have to get another 3 tokens. I guess this is how they rip-off your money knowing that you'll need to use it more than once.

The 1st ride we went on was 'The Boot'

The thing just goes round and round with a high rpm(revolution per minute) which is not really challenging but it makes a good ice breaker. So after going round and round we headed for the flume rides at the niagara falls.

Oh look its a bird, its a plane. No~!!! Its our all time favourite ass kicking super hero.
SANDWICHMAN!!!

(Sandwichman returns)

After that ride, we ended up getting ourselves soaked. Why in the world is a ride that can get you wet in a dry theme park? Its not just one there's more.

The man eating snake ride
(Pray hard rahimi, may your life be spared)

Looks like a pretty decent ride, but looks can be deceiving. This ride takes you into a dark tunnel, go up a hill and suddenly release you down the slide into the water. There was 2 slides in this ride. The first was from the dark tunnel. The second one is higher than the first and when you go down that slide it will look like you came out from a snake's mouth.

(Come to the dark side, young one)

Spooky, this was what I saw in my imaginations. The ride was fun despite almost falling off the ride due to no safety belts and it ended with a splash.

(SPLASH~!!!!)

Yes, we got out of there even more soaking wet.

After a few other rides we went to the 'The Lost City of Gold'.

Despite its name, its actually a giant roller coaster ride. With the word 'roller coaster', you should know how it feels like so I don't think I need to elaborate further except that it was really cool. No photos were taken here for the fear of losing my camera phone.

The next ride was heart throbbing, head bursting and life clinging. Why? Because the ride is called the pirates revenge and this is what it does

(o.O.W00T??? WTH???!!! IT GOES 360. faints*)

I can die from a friggin heart attack if I ever do go on that, so obviously I chickened out, not to mention im afraid of heights(Yea laugh all you want). This was the day I knew the meaning of shame. Even a short, demure, innocent looking girl went on that and came out fine. Respect wei, now I may as well go cut off my balls.

To redeem myself, i mustered all my courage and went for the next ride which was the 'Tomahawk'

Yes this thing goes 360°, not once but twice. Hahahahaha....... beat that. I retain my balls.

I could see stars in the middle of the day on the next ride. It was those spinning cups where when you twist the handle it spins faster. As usual being our hyper self nothing would stop us from doing the darnest things. We kept twisting the control knob faster and faster till when we got down we ourselves were still spinning.

Here's something amusing I found. Sunway Lagoon's theme park is not really suitable for underaged kids for they have some hidden meaning en glyph in certain places. adventerror.blogspot.com unveils the truth behind the truth of sunway lagoon's hidden materials.

Maybe they should rate this park 13sx.

After all those rides, we finally hit the wet theme park. Sorry, no pictures beyond this point for the fear of getting my camera phone wet.

At the wet theme park, we went in every pool and went on every slide. In order to enjoy the wet theme park to the fullest, tubes were needed. So we rented 2 twin tubes for the heck of it. Renting this tubes don't come in cheap. Renting it cost RM15 and we must pay a deposit of RM10 just in case anything were to happen to the tube.

Just when all things were going right, some Pakistani man came and took our tubes without permission and we were on a wild goose chase finding back that tube. Go get yourself a tube of your own for crying out loud. We rented it, It wouldn't be fair if you just took it. Apparently this was not the first time, when we were queuing up, some lady came and took our tube without asking. Luckily we saw that and manage to stop her before she ran away. Geez~!! people cant you get yourself a figgin tube than to take others.

As mentioned before, they should rate this park 13sx. While we were relaxing on our tubes in the pool, suddenly a friend pointed out to me. What we saw was rather disturbing. A couple were making out in the pool. Dei, don't you people have somewhere better to do that. If everyone were to do that here, the hotels will run out of business.

After all the fun we had, we got changed and went to sunway pyramid for lunch. I wouldn't exactly call it lunch since its 5 p.m but then again we never did have lunch the whole day. Here's a tip, if you are ever going to buy food in Sunway Lagoon, I suggest you bring extra cash for the food here cost twice the price than outside.

So at around 6 p.m, we split up and go our separate ways home. It was a tiring yet fun day at Sunway. I recommend this place for people who like the outdoors. Phew~!! Im beat, got back home tired and started blogging this. I can still smell chlorine on me.

Asian Idol review

It looks like I have no choice but to blog bout the Asian Idol that has found its first crowned winner for this year. With the best singers representing their country, it was a worthwhile show to watch.

Malaysian Idol - Jaclyn Victor

Philipines Idol - Mau Marcelo

India Idol - Abhijeet Sawant

Vietnam Idol - Phuong Vy

Indonesia Idol - Mike Mohede

Singapore Idol - Hady Mirza

It was a great 2 hour live performance show which I manage to not get bored.

Im not really a fan of singging competitions, but I must say the Asian Idol was great. At least im not listening to voices that could torment me for life or the voices that could cause a tsunami.

The best voices that ive heard throughout the competition was Jaclyn and Mau, the rest was so-so. Oh, and did I mention? Phuong Vy is HOT!!! Even the emcee was after her and whats worst, he has the chance while I don't DAMMNN~!!! If only I was there.

International and local singers such as Guy Sebastian, Peterpan, Taylor Hicks were also invited to perform whiched really spiced up the show. I guess I would be bored without them and last but not least the final performance was great.

Sorry for the bad quality video. It was taken on my camera phone.

I enjoyed the performance all the way till the results. The results were disappointing, it was a total let down. Who would have thought the black sheep of this competition actually reign victorious. For all I know I didn't even hear any of the judges voicing out his name when they were asked to predict the winner.

No offence to Singaporeans but in my opinion he didn't deserve it. Among the other idols, I find him incompetitive as he's voice did not give that certain oomph~! I don't care if he wins with a good voice, but nooo~!!! I can't help but say he sucks.

I thought of going for the next Asian Idol. But on second thought, I think ill pass. I can't bear to see our second Malaysian Idol compete with other nations while humiliating himself. So overall the Asian Idol was a total let down.

A Lost Soul

As I was going through my old picture album today, I found a few photos that we had during our good old Form 2 years.

The pictures was taken during our sivic project where we had to go to a neighbours house to clean their house so that we can make a scrap book out of it. But somehow I kinda feel like we have been tricked into giving free janitor services

I was even forced to do this

(Haihz what have i gotten myself into)

While looking through the album, a certain photo caught my attention

Looks like your every day typical photo, but look closely. If you still haven't manage to find the weird part of this photo, let me give you a pointer

(o.O. WTH??? GHOST???!!!!)

Oh no~!!! Its a ghost and its haunting Andy.

But somehow this ghost looks rather familiar as if ive seen him before

I saw him here

and here

and even here

(compliments of Rahimi)

May the poor lost soul find its peace. I hope you would pass on to a better life some place else.

Most Awesome Ringtone Ever

This is currently my ringtone

Warning! Please do not set your speaker too loud or it might lead to collateral hearing problems and might even result in deaf. adventerror.blogspot.com and its blogger shall not be held reponsible for any of the deficiency above. Please listen at your own risk. Thank you.

As much as I find this ringtone amusing, but I wouldnt want to set it too loud. For one, I could go deaf at the sound of the valicious opera voice

But It would be rather amusing if your actually caught in this situation

When you're at the cinema watching a horror movie and your phone rings when the show intensifies. I bet your gonna get your butt kicked out of the cinema if that ever happens.

Maybe even when you're having a sleep over and your phone rings when you're telling a ghost story. Imagine the look of your friend's faces, priceless. >.<

The ringtone im using was originally editted from this video.

Awesome aint it, and here's a nicely edited video using that song.

This song bring's opera to a whole new level. Don't ya think? XD

Chipmunks on the Loose

Chipmunks, their voice is stuck and its playing like a radio recorder in my head.

(Radio recorder + chipmunks = HELP~!!!!!)

Here are some really great songs chipmunked into something much greater.

Warning! adventerror.blogspot.com and its blogger shall not be held responsible for extreme addiction or severe brain damage. Watch at your own risk.

Kelly Clarkson - Because of you

Rihanna - Umbrella

Chris Daughtry - Home

Its really highly addictive. I love it. For more you can head down to youtube and find chipmunkalex. Not to mention he accepts request. Keep the chipmunks coming.
Im addicted, so addicted that i even tried downloading the software to convert my songs into those off-tune-chipmunk-like vocals.

(Amazing Slow Downer)

Here's the outcome of the songs.

Heck, I even made Keana sound like a chipmunk. >.<

I have a strong feeling that im gonna get killed after she hears this. Let this be a secret between us.

From all the trouble and time wasting that I went through just to get this software. It turns out to be an unregistered version. With the unregistered version of this software I only manage to play a quarter of the song in chipmunk voices. To play the song in full with the chipmunk voice, Ill have to register my software. Thats why the songs above are not complete.

Okla want me to register. Ill register lor.
(Click on the picture to enlarge)

But to my dismay, I saw this staring back at me.

( 94.95 USD? WTH??!!!)

$94.95USD???!!! Thats RM332.33(According to my calculator). I don't mind paying a few dollars, but this is outrageous. Call me cheapskate if you may, but RM332.33 is not worth it in my opinion. Add another 67 cents and my RM332.33 would be well spent on 333 plates of nasi lemak. That should be able to last for approximately a year.

Forget it. Ill search somewhere else. If anybody out there knows any software kindly let me know. Thanks a bunch.

Speaking of chipmunks, I heard that Alvin & the chipmunks are hitting the big screen soon.

( Alvin & the chipmunks)

Talk about nostalgia of childhood period. Brings back old memories. Not to mention it's now graphically enhanced, but they kinda look like some retarded low life. Oh well, better not judge a show by its looks. I might consider watching this after christmas, so who's with me? ^^

U-Dong!!!

Udon, a type of thick wheat-based noodle popular in japanese cuisine. Udon is usually served as hot or cold noodle soup in a mildly flavoured broth, in its simplest form as kake udon, served in kakejiru made of dashi, soy sauce, and mirin. It is usually topped with thinly chopped scallions. Other common toppings include tempura, often prawn or kakiage (a type of mixed tempura fritter), or abura age, a type of deep-fried tofu pockets seasoned with sugar, mirin, and soy sauce. A thin slice of kamaboko, a halfmoon-shaped fish cake, is often added. Shichimi and beni shoga can be added to taste.

The flavour of broth and topping vary from region to region. Usually, dark brown broth, made from dark soy sauce is used in eastern Japan, and light brown broth, made from light soy sauce is used in western Japan. This is even noticeable in packaged instant noodles, which are often sold in two different versions for east and west.

-referrence from wikipedia.org-

One day in a japanese restaurant.

Waiter: Hi, welcome to Baka Restaurant. May I take your order sir?

Ah Beng Customer: Ah? Emmm.... Give me green tea and plain U-dong.

Waiter: Err... Im sorry sir, do you meant by a bowl of Udon?

Ah Beng Customer: Ha? Just give me a plain U-dong.

Waiter: Im not meaning to be rude sir but could you please be a bit polite. It isn't nice calling people a dong(stupid).

Ah Beng Customer: Ha? What crap u toking now? I want plain U-dong la.

Waiter: THATS IT!!!! UVE CROSS THE LINE SIR!!! I QUIT!!!!!! EVER SINCE IVE BECAME A WAITER, MY GIRLFRIEND LEFT ME, MY PARENTS LAUGH AT ME AND NOW A CUSTOMER COMES AND CALL ME A DONG. WHY??!!! WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS??!!!

Ah Beng Customer: Huh? Cross line? Infront there got zebra crossing mah. Why so tulan wan?

After all the commotion the manager comes out.

Manager: Im sorry sir, please excuse my employee's rudeness. I assure you that it wont happen again.

Ah Beng Customer: Har? Why like at one? Why your emplo-ee veli tulan wan. I just ask for plain U-dong.

Manager: Excuse me sir?

Ah Beng Customer: I want plain U-dong.

Manager: Are you moking me sir?

Ah Beng Customer: Huh? Moping? No la I just want plain U-dong oni.

Manager: GET OUT OF MY RESTAURANT BEFORE I CALL THE COPS!!!!

Ah Beng Customer: Har? Why so tulan wan? I just want plain U-dong.

Manager: OUT!!!! WE DON'T SERVE CUSTOMERS LIKE YOU!!!!! GO OR ILL REALLY CALL THE COPS!!!!!

Ah Beng Customer: ok. ok. dun angry. I go, I go.

At the Ah Beng's home

Ah Beng: Next time i neva wan go that restaurant anymore. Everyone so tulan wan. I ask for a plain U-dong oso wan call police. Next time tell everyone that that restaurant full of tulan people then ask them change the name of that restaurant to tulan restaurant.

So from that day onwards, that place has received many criticism. Due to its misinterpretation, they have changed their type of food served and hence the name has been changed to...

and it all started because of.....

Such a bad name for your product. tisk* tisk* tisk*

Grand Prior

Today, I have officially lost my chance of getting this. What is this you may ask. This is the Grand Prior Badge. The highest award a cadet of St. John Ambulance can receive after undergoing some badge collecting.

Some of you might say, 'Highest award? No big deal. Can buy at 'professor' or somthing.
But here's the thing. This badge can not be found in Malaysia. The only place you can get it is in England plus if you manage to attain the Grand Prior, your certificate will be signed by the Queen of England, which means Queen Elizabeth. Further more you will attain bragging right even until you reached the age of 21 or above. Big or small deal now is up to you to decide.

Dammn sad wei, I failed to attend all of the state camp which is the camp where you can take your probadge test in order to achieve the Grand Prior. This year is no different. In order to achieve the Grand Prior one must attain a total of 12 probadges before the age of 21.

Im below 21, why have I lost my chance of getting one of those? Well, you see. You must have at least 4 probadges before you reach the age of 16 and I dont even have one plus im 16 next year. Man how crappy can this get? Maybe I should start getting all emo and slit my wrist or something.

HELL NO!!!! Im still sane ok. Besides, I still have something to chase after. wanna know what it is? look below.

Yep. This is so far my aim. Doubt ill ever get it. If I do, remember to belanja me ya. For those who will be attending state camp this year, have fun. ^^
