The Main Cause of Global Warming

Had troubles with my internet during the whole month of January. Therefore I'll be posting all that I wrote in January a post at a time. Sry for the inconvenience but please go shoot streamyx for me.

Malaysia, a land known for its humidity and bright hot sunny weathers which can heat up your food just like a microwave oven by placing it at your garden.

The weather this few days is unbearable, therefore I took a retreat to the nearest shopping centre just to leach off their free air-condition.

So as I was strolling at "Malaysia's Lowest Price" store,

I found a very absurd book

So much for saving "Planet Earth". I wonder which genius came up with the idea of saving earth by cutting down more trees for their personal profit by being a "good citizen".

Now I ask you back the very same question.....

Good Riddens 2008

Astalavista 2008. You have been one crappy year.

Thank you for one year of pain, dilemmas, confusion, loneliness and depression. Never have I felt a year so bad it kicks you right where it hurts. Not to mention one of the dullest moments in my life on those great occasions where I would be so jolly I'd put santa to shame.

Thank you too for scaring my life with a nightmare I'd probably never be able to erase and a one that comes back to haunt you every now and then.

Reviewing my past years resolution would be the same as receiving my exam slip.

1. Study, study, study and study. Must continue getting good grades. (FAILED)
2. Start wearing short pants out more often (PASS)
3. Get promoted in St. johns (EPIC FAIL)
4. Get to the top 6 of the prefects board (EPIC FAIL)
5. Get taller (FAIL)
6. Put on at least another 5 kg (PASS)
7. Be more patient with my rascal little sister (I might break this one) (DRASTIC FAIL)
8. Blog more (FAIL)
9. Get a girlfriend (This might not be achievable) (FAILED SO BAD I'D CRY)
10. Stay alive (PASS)

with all that fails, I guess I must make up for it this year. So for this years resolution, I want to:

1. Study hard for SPM and get straight A's
2. Do my best In what ever I do
3. Enjoy my last year in school
4. Grow taller
5. Be able to accomplish what ever I want
6. To be able to confess
7. Change myself
8. Be happier

With that said, lets just hope I'll be able to fulfill it this time.

Although the year has been bad. There were fickle times where I was the most happy. Therefore, before the break of dawn of the new year I would like to say:

To all my true friends who stood by and supported me especially when I needed you the most, thank you.

To all my aquitances that left me an auspicious memory, I trully appreciate it.

To all the people in my life whose feelings I may have hurt, whose expectations I may not have lived up to, whose promises I may have broken, I am truly very sorry.

To my haters, go jump off a cliff.

Happy New Year.

Malaysian Santa Clause.

Ho, Ho, Ho.... Merry Belated Christmas. Santa has gone missing and his little elves has shrunk twice the size they have been, making them unspottable anymore.

Once again no presents for me on this jolly day, not because I was bad all year but because Santa had financial problems due to the world economy crisis, thus no presents for me this year and most probably the next and so on as well.

But Santa did drop by. I assure you I did see him, not in his red suit and sleigh. I guess Santa ran out of the Christmas Spirit like most of us. He was spotted in a van with this logo.

Since Malaysia has no chimney, Santa just hanged this balloon on every gate in the neighbourhood.

He also left a christmas card for us.

Well, I certainly did not enjoy this Christmas. Christmas just came and went like every other normal day. Sad to say it was the dullest Christmas I have ever experienced in this past 16 years of my life. There were no christmas tree, no christmas carols, no christmas decorations, no turkey and not even santa clause. Gone were the days where you could feel the Christmas spirit when this special occasion was coming closer.

I used to look forward to this special occasion every year since I was a teeny-weeny kiddo who would jump to delight at a christmas tree and disturbing the 'fat man' better known as Santa Clause. Not to forget the turkey we always had for dinner on this very day, and now I can forget about having turkey on christmas with the drastic price hike.

Christmas Isn't what It used to be anymore.

Dear Santa,

I've been good all year. So good that I saved many teenagers from their angry parents after an exam, as well as bringing the toilet rights to light which saved many innocent local and non-local toilet visitors.

not to mention the advertising help I offered eccentric shops

Last but not least, the support I gave to our fellow politicians through thick and thin. *vomits*

and all I'm asking for this Christmas is.....

a Sony PSP

an Xbox 360

a new lens for my camera

a new Tv for my room

a Nike Air Max

a keyboard

no not that keyboard, this keyboard.

P1 W1max (You know why I want this, Dad. *Grim Smile*)

and most of all......

My Driving license

Not forgetting the car.

P.S. Is it just me or is Christmas getting duller and duller as the years goes by?

P.P.S. If the above is too much for you to handle. A cheque with RM3 million will do.

Your "GoodBoy",
Kevin Tey
*Merry Christmas To Everyone*

International Cadet Camp

I have never been more excited on going to a camp especially one that invites other foreign countries to participate. As part of St. John Ambulance Malaysia's Sentinel celebration, SJAM-Selangor hosted the International Cadet Camp in commemoration of St. Johns being 100 years old in Malaysia. I simply couldn't resist this offer, what more when there's foreign chicks coming down. This could be the end of my single life.

The foreign countries that took part were....

our beloved neighbouring country - Singapore

The country of beautiful scenery - New Zealand

The country where I thought King Kong came from(No offense to hongkies) - Hong Kong

A country I've never heard of - Zambia

Last but not least - Sri Langka.

and most of the other states and areas around Malaysia.

To my dismay, the British did not come and I was eagerly looking forward to get a british friend.

Well better luck next time.

But I did not go home in regret of not making foreign friends

Meet Laura Mae. She's gonna be my tour guide when I visit New Zealand.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank my fellow team mates for being there for me and thanks for the great memories. It shall stay with me for a very long time, that I assure you.

When Numbers Are Not Maths

Ever wanted to confess to your loved one but never really knew how? Ever thought that your not the slightest bit romantic? Well my friend, You've come to the right place.

Now my fellow geeks and nerd who love numbers unlike myself, embark yourself on a poem like never before.

Square Root Of Three

I fear that I will always be
A lonely number like root three
A three is all that’s good and right
Why must my three keep out of sight
Beneath a vicious square root sign?

I wish instead I were a nine
For nine could thwart this evil trick
With just some quick arithmetic

I know I will never see the sun
As 1.7321
Such is my reality
A sad irrationality
When hark, just what is this I see?

Another square root of a three
Has quietly come waltzing by
Together now we multiply
To form a number we prefer
Rejoicing as an integer

We break free from our mortal bonds
And with a wave of magic wands
Our square root signs become unglued
And love for me has been renewed

Poem extracted from Harold & Kumar - Escape from Guantanamo Bay.

Now recite it to your love ones and see as their face lights up to the joy of....

laughter.
